It teaches them how to analyze investments fundamentally and technically. Our Interns also compete against each other in a stock market game using our trading techniques. This allows them to get paper trading experience in the markets. By having trading experience, this gives them an edge over their peers when applying to their next internship. We also have a mentorship program that teaches them to be successful in all areas in their life. Giving back and teaching the new generation asset management and life skills is something we take great pride in. After their internship is complete, our interns go on to work at our firm and some of the best investment firms in the world.

Equity Analyst – Internship

The intern will be given the opportunity to learn about the advisory business by gaining exposure to key aspects of the wealth management division including various investment vehicles, portfolio creation and analysis, relationship building and client interaction. Interns may have client contact and must be able to handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to our client base. As an office intern you may get exposure to sales support positions, typically providing dedicated administrative and sales support to multiple Financial or Private Wealth Advisors. Incumbents may also support office initiatives, in addition to the businesses of particular advisors. Our office teams work collaboratively to protect the firm, grow the business, and serve the client.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of the following characteristics:

Client focus

Proven academic excellence

Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus

Ability to work in a team based collaborative environment, exceptional time management and prioritization skills, and strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities

Technological proficiency (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Minimum GPA: 3.5

The intern will work under close supervision and receive on the job training. After participating in this internship, the intern should have a better understanding of what is involved in becoming a Financial or Private Wealth Advisor within the wealth management business. The intern should also become familiar with the many investment choices offered and have a basic understanding of how an investment plan is designed and monitored.

Hours per week: 15-20 (schedule is flexible)
